DAY 8: INSPIRE

It’s Day 8, and the first day of 2020! Yay! Today’s prompt is:

Inspire.

August was a creative turning point for me. I was spending a lot more time with my dad’s side after camping out there following my Wisdom Teeth surgery. Our relationship up till then had been frayed. But it turns out a weekend of tooth pain, and a loopy me was just what our relationship needed! Now I couldn’t stay away.

We took a trip in August to Block Island at a time that I was lacking inspiration. Things were rough at home, my relationship was falling apart again, going back to school didn’t happen the way I hoped, and I felt at a stand still.

This day was so magical. I’ve never felt so inspired by a place in my life. Ironic considering I'd been there before, but different mindsets make for different experiences.

I ended up coming home and not only redesigning my blog under an entire new theme, but I also started researching for a novel endeavor; something I haven't done in years.

I don’t know what I would do without inspiration. It fuels me. I am forever grateful for it.
